Company History — Founded in 1943

Since 1943, Wayne Craft has been providing homeowners and professionals the custom quality that they demand. Four generations of family over 75 years have brought us to today where we are today.

Humble Beginnings

Our small, locally and family-owned business was developed to provide handyman services and manufacture awnings for builders and contractors. Phone books were not being printed at that time to conserve paper during WWII. In order to be listed in the phone book, the company took the name and phone number of a business that had recently closed its doors. The name taken was Wayne Regulator, a company that once produced gauges.

In November of 1956, we were incorporated as Wayne Craft. Our product lines expanded to include the manufacture and installation of screen rooms, sunrooms, and porch railings, as well as awnings.

From the 1960s through the 1990s, Wayne Craft steadily grew in size and product offerings while carefully developing and preserving our reputation for quality products and reliable service.

Beyond the Horizon

In recent years, Wayne Craft has worked aggressively to develop new product lines and programs designed to provide local contractors with an expanded line of home improvement products and services while continuing to place a premium on quality and craftsmanship.

New high-performance sunrooms and patio enclosures have been developed to meet the recent demand for higher-end products. Other product lines are constantly being expanded and refined as we work to provide the best materials and services available.
