Removing Upgraded Screens
Note: These removeable screens are an upgraded feature to our three-season sunroom. Proper care during removal is essential to protect your investment.
- Clear the two tracks in front of the screens: The screens are laid in the third track and to be able to move them, the glass panes need to be removed first. Each pane is in a separate track and the removal of them can be found down below.
- Start at the top corners: Each corner of the screen is supported by a spring-loaded mechanism. Apply gentle pressure to the top of the screen to compress the springs.
- Pull toward you carefully: While the springs are compressed, slowly pull the screen toward you. Use the built-in pull tabs to help guide the screen out, do not rely solely on the tabs for removal.
Common Mistake: Many users skip the spring release and pull directly on the tabs. This can result in the tabs tearing off while the screen remains stuck in place.

Removing Glass Panes
To remove the glass panes from your enclosure system, follow these simple steps:
- Release the clip: Each pane is held in place by a small clip. Begin by releasing this clip, this is what keeps the pane secure when it’s not in use.
- Lift and pull: Gently lift the pane upward and then pull it toward you. This motion allows the pane to safely come out of the track system without damage or strain.
Reinstalling Glass Panes
When you’re ready to put the panes back:
- Start at the top track: Insert the top of the glass pane into the upper track.
- Set the bottom: Once the top is in place, align and lower the bottom edge into the lower track to complete the reinstallation.

Adjusting Self-Storing Doors
The standard door choice for our three-season room is a self-storing storm door. Self-storing refers to the design of moving components up or down for different ventilation options. Shown in the video is an upgradable option of a full view storm door.To learn more about these doors, check out our trusted supplier: Fox Weldoor’s Self-Storing Door Line. Wayne Craft is a proud dealer of these products.
- These doors feature sliding glass inserts that expose the screen without removing panels, with multiple venting positions for flexible airflow.
- The locking mechanism shown offers helpful insight into standard operation and removal. It features “No Lock Out” technology, durable everyday use, and a lightweight design for easier handling during adjustments.
- The video will also highlight the self-closing speed. As a lot of people question if it abruptly closes shut.
